The Community that is CaSSoc
The University of York Catholic Students' Society, CaSSoc, exists to provide a religious, intellectual and social community for its members. You don't have to be a Catholic to come along, you just have to be interested in exploring the Catholic faith with us. We are one of the oldest societies of the University of York, see our history pages, but we still have a regular program of social, spiritual and intellectual events, see our events page.
CaSSoc is run by students, for students. We have a committee who are elected each February to serve in various roles for the following year. You can meet the current committee on the committee page. However, the committee would have nothing to do if we had no members; the members are what make the society what it is. If you are interested in becoming a member, sign up here.
